See a few recap photos from Ωmaterials the 2013 Maker Faire Bay Area here!

Here’s a schedule of events for the weekend:

Simple Circuit Sewing workshops:

Sunday 10:30am-12pm, 1:30-2:30pm

Special Performance Sunday at 1pm

Want to show your wonderful eTextile piece? Teach a workshop? Or do both?  Please contact me (  as we still have room for all.

Showcasing a piece? If you’re bringing a piece to show at Ωmaterials you will be given table space and a chair.  An electrical plug may not always be available (please email if you need special set-up options).  To show a piece you do not need to be there the whole time, but there will be no one to watch your piece (all is under your watchful eye).

Teaching a workshop? The workshops are split into 1hr periods and will take place in our booth space.  All materials must be provided by the teacher and remember the simpler the project the better!

Stay tuned for more details!

**Our booth is given free of charge, therefore if you’re looking to sell merchandise you must apply as your own booth space.  Please request to be located next to us!

  5. Hi Ally,

I just met with Lynne Bruning at a LA Makerspace workshop today and she told me about the Bay area Maker Faire. I have a fashion piece that I had made for a project competition in my fashion school incorporating the use of LEDs and I would like to see if I could possibly show it in your Maker Faire on the 18th-19th :) Please let me know or feel free to call me at (310)593-3781. Thanks!
